3M Tegaderm™ Transparent Film Dressing is a sterile, waterproof dressing designed to protect I.V. sites, wounds, and catheter sites, while maintaining an optimal moist environment for healing. The vapour-permeable film allows oxygen in and moisture vapour out, promoting faster recovery.

This transparent dressing serves as a sterile barrier, shielding wounds and I.V. sites from external contaminants, including bacteria, viruses, and body fluids. In vitro testing shows the film provides a viral barrier for viruses as small as 27 nm in diameter, without leakage, keeping the site secure and protected. The easy-to-apply picture-frame delivery ensures precise placement while reducing the risk of sticking to gloves or itself.

Ideal for monitoring wounds or I.V. sites without removal, Tegaderm™ allows full visibility, ensuring better patient care. The dressing is latex-free, and for optimal protection, it is recommended to use a waterproof cover when showering.
